Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

GetSportScore is a browser-enhancing utility, which appears to have been taken from the Google Chrome Store. We were unable to identify any other variants of this utility since it appears that the publisher of GetSportScore has decided to release a version only compatible with Google Chrome. As the name of this extension suggests, it is meant to provide sports fans with the ability to receive instant sports score updates whenever they use their Web browser. However, the installation of GetSportScore may ask users to authorize the installation process to apply various changes to their Chrome installation, such as modifying their default new tab page to Feed.getsportscore.com.
Changes of this sort are not considered to be unsafe, but in the case of GetSportScore, they are unnecessary entirely. However, it is not uncommon for browser add-ons like GetSportScore to perform actions like these since their publishers might often use software like this to boost the traffic that certain pages receive greatly. In the case of GetSportScore, the publisher is aiming to increase the traffic to Feed.getsportscore.com, which serves as a search engine that yields results from the Yahoo Search.
Continuing to use GetSportScore should not be a problem for users who are happy with the changes and features this extension brings. However, if any users are interested in eliminating GetSportScore and the website it promotes, then they should know how to take care of this problem. Since GetSportScore is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), it is considered to be a safe piece of software, which can be uninstalled via the Chrome's extension manager. However, users who want to be a bit more sophisticated with their approach are welcomed to remove GetSportScore with the use of a suitable security tool.
