High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

The GifaPalooza Toolbar is a browser extension offered by Mindspark Interactive Network. The description of the toolbar states that it is meant to help users find the best GIFs on the Internet, as well as to discover a new interesting GIF whenever they launch their Web browser. However, to achieve this, the GifaPalooza Toolbar may change the browser's default new tab page to a search engine hosted by MyWay.com, which is tailored to provide the features that the GifaPalooza Toolbar advertises. The good news is that neither these changes nor the MyWay.com search page is suspicious, and users who want to take advantage of them will not end up being exposed to potentially harmful digital content.
However, the GifaPalooza Toolbar is identified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), and its installation may sometimes be the cause of potentially unwanted changes to your Web browser's settings. This software is compatible with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox so that it is safe to say that many users might be impacted by the changes that the GifaPalooza Toolbar is meant to bring.
Although the GifaPalooza Toolbar's features might sound useful, we'd like to inform you that you don't need to use 3rd-party browser extensions to browse and search GIFs. The GifaPalooza Toolbar does not host any of the content it promotes and, instead, it simply uses content from popular GIF creations and hosting services that are accessible publicly. This means that you can simply visit these websites and services to find GIFs without having to install additional software.
If you'd like to learn how to deal with the GifaPalooza Toolbar Potentially Unwanted Program, then you are in the right place. The removal of software like this can be carried out via the Windows Control Panel, but you also can rely on a trustworthy PC security scanner that can take care of the task for you.
