Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Gizmodock is an annoying adware extension that may overwhelm your browsers with unrequested commercial materials. Its presence often leaves the clients surprised since a significant portion of them have no clue whatsoever how Gizmodock entered. Some people even suspect that the add-on may be a cyber threat, but it is not the case. The adware simply may travel together with other free applications – an approach called 'bundling.' If you skip the details during the installation screens, you may agree to install it unwittingly. This strategy is the only distribution method of Gizmodock because even its official site doesn't have a working download button. The description of this add-on states that it will assist you with your online shopping. It also promises to optimize your searches by displaying more user-relevant results. However, behind this convincing statement lies the intention of the developers of Gizmodock to promote their partners. The questionable search engine that this adware may set as your homepage is docksearch.net. On the top positions, there may be concealed ads that try to boost the traffic towards the affiliate platforms. It is not recommended to use this engine to prevent potential damage. Some of the buttons on docksearch.net encourage the PC users to install software with unverified legitimacy like FreeGamesZone, so you should be careful. Gizmodock may be responsible for the creation of intrusive pop-ups and banners, videos and in-text ads that may be launched automatically, which may cause distraction and annoyance. They may get in the way of the smooth performance of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. To eradicate this adware from your PC, you should perform a scan with credible security software.
