Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Grato Scanner is a Korean software product, which is distributed in two versions – one meant for the Korean market and an English version that seems to only be offered by the Korean company's website. The product can be downloaded for free, and it is meant to serve as a PC security application that is able to protect the computer from threats actively, as well as to perform scans to ensure that no unsafe activity is taking place on the user's computer. However, a significant number of anti-virus products detect the Grato Scanner as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), and a portion of them also have tagged this tool as adware. This means that the Grato Scanner may possess the ability to display ads in running Web browsers, therefore having an adverse impact on the user's Web browsing experience.
The Grato Scanner, as well as the website that offers it, don't seem to be reliable at all. The page is not secure, yet the payment page demands visitors to enter their credit card information to complete the purchase of the product. You should never agree to share payment details with pages that are not secured via HTTPS since insecure pages are prone to be attacked by ill-minded users who could use the vulnerability to exfiltrate the information of the site's users.
If you have the Grato Scanner installed, then we advise you to remove it since there are more reliable free alternatives if you are looking for anti-malware software. The removal of the Grato Scanner should be carried out with the help of an up-to-date security tool since manual removal is not guaranteed to remove all of the software's files.
