ScreenshotGreatDefender (Great Defender) is an application that is designed to mislead computer users to the point of purchasing a full version of a bogus security program. GreatDefender is nothing more than a rogue anti-spyware program that uses many deceiving tactics to promote purchase.

GreatDefender is part of the same group of rogues known as REAnti, SystemFighter and Apcprotect. Like these fake security programs, GreatDefender will perform fake system scans the return bogus parasite results in addition to display false parasite warning notifications. The full version and free download of GreatDefender is not capable of detecting or removing legitimate computer parasites.
