Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

GreenPlayer is an application that may come with a range of side effects, so you should think twice before allowing it to enter your PC. The company that stands behind it remains unknown, which is a certain sign that this software is not legitimate. GreenPlayer serves as adware, and it may create large amounts of unrequested online advertisements. The unnamed developer of GreenPlayer promotes it as a brand new media player, which can be of help to the clients with its user-friendly interface and low system specification requirements. However, this application may not be as useful as it may seem to be initially – in fact, it offers nothing more than popular media players. What may cause you inconvenience is that it may insert numerous pop-ups, banners, page-wide interstitial ads and videos that start automatically to a significant portion of the sites you are about to visit. This activity doesn't depend on the particular web client that you use because GreenPlayer may affect Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time. The coupons, discounts and 'special offers' that this adware generates may not be of help to you because they may lead to untrustworthy pages. The exact nature of the advertised products is related to your surfing history because this way they are more likely to attract your interest. However, it is possible for some of the new ads to take you towards frankly dangerous pages, so it is best to avoid them. In another effort to redirect you to partner sites, GreenPlayer may replace your preset homepage with a low-quality search engine that displays manipulated results. Some users report that they have been unable to delete the adware because of errors, so you should consider using powerful anti-malware software.
