However, the usefulness of this add-on is questionable since its sole purpose appears to be to set G.results.supply as either the default new tab page or search aggregator.

Using G.results.supply is not a problem because this search engine works reliably and it delivers search results that are trustworthy. However, do not forget that G.results.supply is not associated with a reputable company or product, and there is a chance that the way it works might be changed in the future.
