HoistSearch

HoistSearch is a browser hijacker and a website by means of the HoistSearch.com page that may load up on some systems as the default home page. In the cases of HoistSearch loading automatically it may be due to installing random freeware programs or bundled software that has installed several components related to HoistSearch. The HoistSearch page itself may not be initially harmful but it may load several ads or sponsored links that if used may send computer users to other pages that have questionable content. Stopping the activities involved with HoistSearch as the default home page it may require finding all of its related plug-ins or other components and removing each of them.
