Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

IconRunnder is adware, which may often be installed automatically, therefore leading to some annoying changes that the users are likely to find annoying. This software might be spread via fake downloads and offers, or with the assistance of low-quality software bundles, which rely on misleading installation instructions to get users to install 3rd-party applications like IconRunner. When this app is installed, users might begin to see the IconRunner advertisements whenever they browse the sites and, unfortunately, the contents of these ads are not guaranteed to be safe and reliable. It is not unusual for adware to be used to spread fake offers, services, or products, which may cost a ton of money without offering anything of value in return. It also wouldn't be an exception if the IconRunner Ads include links to shady Web pages and download sites, which might host threats.
The intrusive ads that IconRunner uses aren't just offering shady and potentially harmful content, but they also might prevent the user from navigating the Web as they were used to. This is because these ads may appear on top of important sections of the currently opened website, therefore covering up navigation menus, content sections and other areas of interest. Needless to say, this behavior should not be tolerated, and the removal of this adware application should be your top priority.
The good news is that IconRunner is not unsafe, and removing it should not be that big of a challenge. Since it may attempt to conceal some of its files and components, it is recommended to remove IconRunner by running an up-to-date anti-virus scanner, which is guaranteed to wipe out all of the intrusive app's files.
