Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Some PC users report that all of a sudden their browsers may start displaying many ads with the slogan 'Generated by JellySplit.' Such occurrence is a certain sign that there is some questionable program on your PC. This suspicious add-on performs as adware, which means that it may put various commercial materials in the sites you like to browse. You may notice them when you are online consistently, which may become a setback pretty soon. The first thought of many PC users who notice the mentioned ads is that they are infected. In fact, JellySplit doesn't possess harmful codes and doesn't rely on distribution methods used by the cyber threats. However, this adware hides well in the installers of third-party freeware, so some users may agree to load it without being properly informed. To avoid being tricked by this 'bundling' method, you should use the more detailed 'Advanced' menu for each installation of freeware. The unreliable add-on may become a part of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer at the same time. After it settles in, the adware may create banners, pop-ups, interstitial ads and in-text ads. They may come in great quantities and appear in different sites, so it is understandable if they annoy you. The multimedia elements in some commercial materials may be responsible for occasional freezes or even crashes of the Web clients. Just like the majority of ad-oriented plugins, this one may try to adjust the coupons and discounts to the taste of the user. It may accomplish this task by tracking performed searches and visited pages. Security specialists suggest you ignore its commercial materials. There is a chance for some of them to redirect you to harmful pages. It is best to use an advanced anti-malware application to eliminate JellySplit.
