Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

JoyNShop is the name of a small browser extension, which can cause you severe inconvenience. It falls within the extensive category of adware since its primary task is to generate advertising materials. As its name suggests, the developers of this suspicious add-on claim that it will turn your shopping experience into a joyful process. According to them, the displayed offers, discounts and coupons will allow you to purchase products at a cheap price. The numerous pop-ups, banners and interstitial ads are indeed beneficial, but not to the clients. Whenever the person clicks on any of the new ads, the developers of JoyNShop will receive some referral commission from the administrators of the promoted page. This business works really well for both sides: the creators of the adware get revenues while the owners of the sponsored sites get visitors. The one, who may find himself in a bad situation, is the unsuspecting user. First, the additional marketing materials may worsen the performance of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. It is expected the speed to drop, but it is also possible for you to face some freezes and crashes as well. Second, nothing verifies that the promoted platforms are safe. Some of them may ask you to install questionable software, or may attempt to scam you. The third unpleasant aspect comes from the perspective of the user, who may get annoyed that almost every site he visits contains some "Ads by JoyNShop". Many people state that they are unable to disable this adware manually, so you should use a professional anti-malware application.
