The Koyote Soft Toolbar is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) made by Koyote-Lab, Inc. The Koyote Soft Toolbar may become part of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer in case you download any of the Koyote programs. This software developer offers over dozens of cost-free applications that should let you convert your files or burn CDs. Some of these tools may function as expected, but the Koyote Soft Toolbar may bother the majority of PC users. The Koyote Soft Toolbar contains a search field that may display inaccurate results to redirect you to sponsored sites. Its presence may be accompanied by additional changes in the Web clients. The Koyote Soft Toolbar may replace your homepage automatically. The Koyote Soft Toolbar also may manipulate the results even if you perform your searches on legitimate platforms. The PUP also may block page-based ads and put its own commercial materials in their place. Unfortunately, the new marketing elements may be far more aggressive and persistent. They may consist of pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads, transitional ads, etc. The Koyote Soft Toolbar may place them even in sites that were previously ad-free. The Koyote Soft Toolbar may have access to some information that may provide clues about your interests such as the surfing history or your searches. Thus, the coupons or deals that the Koyote Soft Toolbar shows may seem intriguing. The experts don't recommend clicking on them for security reasons. If you wish to explore the offer, you should be careful. If some of the partner sites claim your Java or Adobe is outdated, you should decline to install the newer version because it may be threatening. Due to the quantity of the multimedia ads, Koyote Soft Toolbar may cause some performance issues with the Web clients. You may detect a significant decrease in the operating speed.
