Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The LocalHost New Tab is another software product by the infamous developer SaferBrowser. This company has an extensive history of creating ad-supported extensions. They may change the configuration of the browsers in a way that the majority of PC users don't appreciate. The LocalHost New Tab is not an exception to the established rule. Shortly after the LocalHost New Tab enters, you may experience automatic redirections towards untrustworthy search providers like Search.di-cmf.com and Search.searchdoco.com. The LocalHost New Tab may make one of these two domains your homepage. You also may encounter them when you open new tabs. As long as the LocalHost New Tab remains, you may fail if you attempt to set up a domain of your choice as your starting site. The LocalHost New Tab also may display sponsored ads that don't originate from the Web pages. The new commercial materials may have different shapes. The most common ones are pop-ups and banners, but you may notice in-text ads, interstitial ads, transitional ads or embedded videos in addition to them. As you probably suspect, these marketing elements may take you to partner pages, some of which may be associated with an e-commerce activity. What you may not anticipate is that a part of the affiliated sites may be harmful. In some cases, the links by the LocalHost New Tab may open sites that may display notifications, according to which your Adobe is outdated. The alleged newer version may be a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). Some of the sites that the developer SaferBrowser promotes may display fabricated security warnings to trick you. The experts advise you against clicking on the ads by the LocalHost New Tab to prevent potential security problems. It is also perceived as a bad idea to trust the new search engines because they also may redirect you to affiliated domains. Even if you don't click on the marketing offers by the LocalHost New Tab, they still may cause trouble. Their loading may consume some of the system's RAM, which may eventually lead to annoying speed drops or other glitches. The LocalHost New Tab may be immune to the normal uninstall procedures, so you should delete it with advanced security software.
