The Locate Your Package is a browser add-on offered by Polarity Technologies LTD. The extension does not seem to have an official website and, instead, it only can be found on the Chrome Web Store. It is important to note that the Locate Your Package does not seem to be compatible with browsers different from Google Chrome so that only Chrome users are likely to be encounter this extension. As the name of the software hints, the Locate Your Package add-on can help users track their packages and deliveries by entering a tracking number in their default new tab page.

However, there are several important things about the Locate Your Package that we must talk about. First of all, the installation of the Locate Your Package is guaranteed to change the default new tab page of Google Chrome to Search.searchlocateyp.com. It is impossible to install this program unless you authorize it to mess with the Chrome's settings and replace the new tab page with a website affiliated to Polarity Technologies LTD. The way the Locate Your Package works is that the new tab page it promotes has a field where users can enter a tracking number and get information about the package in question. However, do keep in mind that Search.searchlocateyp.com only works with selected delivery services, and by driving the user to the website of the primary service. This means that the Locate Your Package doesn't offer anything unique and, instead, it simply refers users to the original services that can allow them to track their packages.

If you do not wish to use browser extensions with a questionable reputation like the Locate Your Package, then we advise you to take the necessary measures to uninstall them from your computer. The removal of the Locate Your Package can be carried out either via the Chrome's extension manager or with the assistance of a suitable PC security software suite.
