MalwareScanner or Malware Scanner, is usually installed manually or from a malicious website that promotes the MalwareScanner program. MalwareScanner scans your computer generating exaggerated spyware results which are false positives.

MalwareScanner uses the fake scan tactic in am attempt to trick you into purchasing the commercial version of MalwareScanner. MalwareScanner will continue to produce popups and system alerts which may cause your system to run slowly or become unstable.
