Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

The Maps Hub New Tab Chrome extension is meant to provide its users with various maps that can give them with all information kinds. Usually, add-ons of maps are related to driving directions, but the Maps Hub New Tab seems to operate differently. It includes satellite maps, weather maps, traffic maps, and even local traffic maps. All of this might sound useful, but before installing the Maps Hub New Tab, you should know that it provides these services by replacing the Google Chrome's default new tab page with a search engine associated with the software's publisher – Newtabtools.com.
While the toolkit that the Maps Hub New Tab offers might sound useful, it does not offer anything special. All of the maps it promotes are related to 3rd-party services, which are accessible without the use of a software like the Maps Hub New Tab. While the new tab page that this tool promotes is not a fraudulent one, users might not be satisfied with the quality of the results it provides since they might contain ads and sponsored content.
Users who are happy with what the Maps Hub New Tab offers and are not bothered by the changes it brought to their browser should not feel obligated to remove this application. It is not unsafe, but some Pc security products will detect it as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). If you are of the opposite opinion and you would like to get rid of the Maps Hub New Tab tool, then you should do this either manually or with the help of a specialized PUP removal tool.
