Mediamodern.biz is the name of a domain that delivers the pop-ups associated with it, which can infect your Web browser. Mediamodern.biz will display a fake video player on its pages, prompting the visitor to click 'Allow' to watch the video. This is a fake screen, and the video is just a bait for the visitor to allow pop-up notifications from the website. Allowing the notifications will, of course, not play any video and will simply infect the browser with the unsolicited pop-ups from mediamodern.biz.

Similar fake messages sometimes prompt the user to allow notifications to prove they are not a robot, which, of course, is never the case with real anti-robot checks. Whoever is operating the mediamodern.biz domain decided to opt for a fake video player as the bait.
