The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

MegaPlayer is not the right player that you should use when you want to listen to music or watch videos. The experts have all the necessary reasons to include this application to the constantly growing list of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). First of all, the most popular distribution method of this suspicious player may leave the clients unaware of its upcoming installation. MegaPlayer may travel in bundles alongside third-party free tools. The commonly 'Quick' setup process may not inform you adequately about additional components. Second, this player is not legitimate, which means you may face many performance errors. The third and most important reason not to keep this PUP on your PC is the impact it may have on the web clients. MegaPlayer may modify Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer automatically in a way that may benefit its developers but trouble the user. The questionable application may change the default homepage and search engine in an effort to boost traffic towards partners. After opening new tabs, you may notice a set of promoted sites instead of the pages you have visited recently. The PUP also may place vast amounts of pop-ups, banners, videos and interstitial ads in a significant part of the sites you load. Some of these commercial materials are highly questionable. They may try to obtain your email address or phone number by encouraging you to take part in surveys, or may transfer you to corrupted sites. The result of these ads on the browsers also may be unpleasant. The marketing elements may use a part of the system's resources, which may occasionally lead to freezes and crashes. Some users report that the built-in uninstall module of MegaPlayer may display errors, so you should use credible security software for the removal of this PUP.
