The Meme Generator – MemeTab is an extension for Google Chrome, which offers to provide users with a neat set of tools and templates that can help them create their personalized memes in no time, through their Web browser directly. While this might sound convenient if you are into this entertainment kind, you should know that there are plenty of free meme generators online, and they can be used without having to install 3rd-party software. In addition to this, before installing the Meme Generator – MemeTab, you should know that this extension can't be used unless you permit it to replace the Google Chrome's default new tab website. While this change is not unsafe, some users are likely to find it annoying since the new tab by the Meme Generator – MemeTab might not prove to be as useful as Bing, Yahoo, Google, or other websites that are used as the default new tab page commonly.
The new tab page that this add-on promotes is hosted on Search.memetab.com, and it appears to include a search engine, a meme of the day menu, and a collection of online meme-creation utilities that users can take advantage of. If you do not wish to continue using the Meme Generator – MemeTab and want to revert the changes it made, then we advise you to take the required steps to uninstall this extension. To accomplish this action, you should use a credible PC security tool that is capable of disposing of Potentially Unwanted Program (PUPs).
