Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

MovieFlex is a browser extension available on the official Google Chrome Web store, allowing its users to gain access to news and developments in the movie industry with a single click. So far, as many as 37 PC users appear to have installed the extension onto their Chrome browsers. However, this is hardly MovieFlex's sole distribution channel as the extension can be found in a much greater number of systems, often without their owners' knowledge – a trait all Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) share. To provide one-access to movie trailers, entertainment news, or even full-length blockbusters for free, MovieFlex changes the Google Chrome's homepage and new tab pages to the following offline page:

Also, MovieFlex also modifies the browser's default search engine, changing it with an alternative, often fairly unpopular one. The latter is a thriving place for a bewildering array of unwanted adware notifications popping up onto the users' desktops with no end in sight.
The scant interest in MovieFlex in the Chrome Web store leads us to suggest that MovieFlex.club, the party behind the add-on, may have bundled it with other popular software out there as a drive-by download. The extension's growing popularity has brought about the development of two additional clones, namely:
- MovieCharm – developed by MovieCharm.com
- MovieDime – created by MovieDime.club
Both of them also are available on the Google Chrome Web store officially.
Considering the risk factors associated with unwanted adware and similar applications, it is in the best interest of PC users to steer clear of any programs and add-ons that land onto their systems secretly and remove them as soon as possible. Running a reputable security program is essential to achieving this goal.
