Due to a prevailingly negative user feedback, cyber security researchers classified Muzik Trak as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). MuzikTrak offers features that some PC users may deem as appealing, but they have their price. MuzikTrak is expected to keep you informed of the latest songs and music news directly from your new tab screen. MuzikTrak also creates a toolbar with buttons for fast access to legitimate online radio stations and music streaming platforms. The problem is that this PUP may create a lot of pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and transitional ads that may be pretty aggressive. You should decide for yourself whether the positive features of MuzikTrak are enough to nullify the presence of the annoying ads. The majority of PC users don't appreciate the existence of the listed commercial materials that may appear on every site that you open. Not only may these sponsored links seize a substantial area of your screen, but they also may impede the performance of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The issues that you may encounter are not 'planned' or desired by the developers of MuzikTrak. The multimedia ads simply may consume too many resources, which may cause speed drops, freezes or even crashes. Some PC users are also may not be happy with the fact that the PUP may change some settings without the user's approval. For example, a different homepage may appear suddenly. The default search provider may be replaced by a less-reliable alternative as well. When you initiate searches, you may encounter various sponsored links in the first few pages, hidden among the actual results. The creators of MuzikTrak receive commissions for redirecting you to their partners, but this process may be unsafe. Some of the affiliated platforms may spread other suspicious applications, or try to trick you in some way. To make sure it never happens, you should use an advanced anti-malware tool to delete this PUP.
