My Current News XP is another ad-supported Web toolbar by Informer Technologies, Inc. The products of this software developer may leave the PC users dissatisfied. Just like My Maps XP, My Speedtest XP and My Coupons XP, My Current News XP may be associated with some intrusive online ads. If this adware becomes part of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, you may encounter various pop-ups, banners and interstitial ads. The questionable toolbar also may change some of the settings of the Web clients to promote third-party sites. It may set search.mycurrentnewsxp.com as your default search provider. While this suspicious site relies on Yahoo for the majority of the displayed results, it also may include many sponsored links. The commercial materials may appear in large amounts, which may disrupt the normal functionality of the browsers. Since some of the system resources may be needed to load the videos and animations, less resources will remain available for the other processes of the Web clients. The consequences may be random freezes or a significantly slower loading of the pages. You should be careful with the promoted sites. Informer Technologies, Inc will maximize the profits from referral commissions when it has more partners. If some of them have other intentions, you may be transferred to compromised webpages. The only somewhat positive feature of My Current News XP Toolbar is that it contains buttons that load news and sports sites. However, with a few clicks, you can bookmark these domains. If you didn't download the suspicious application intentionally, then it was most likely included in some software bundle. If My Current News XP Toolbar ruins your surfing sessions, you should use credible security software to delete it.
