High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

First of all, popular browsers have a built-in module that offers you the exact same function regarding the downloads. From this perspective, you don't need to install additional software for the task. Second, the commercial materials from this adware may cause you inconvenience during your surfing sessions. They tend to be more tenacious than the ads that you are accustomed to seeing. MyDownloadManager may inject pop-ups, banners, sponsored videos and animations in a significant part of Web pages. Due to their large quantity and eye-catching colors, the coupons and discounts may annoy you. Moreover, your browser may use some of the available resources to generate them, so the speed at which the sites load may drop. It is easy to understand why these ads may be suitable to your taste – most of them may be based on your surfing history. Although the commercial materials may be appealing, you should proceed with caution if you want to check the promoted sites. Some of them may represent a security risk to your system. It is true that MyDownloadManager is available on the Chrome Web Store and other similar platforms, but it also may travel in software bundles with other freeware. Since you don't need this application and MyDownloadManager may cause issues, you should consider deleting it.
