Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

myDownloads Search a browser add-on that is only available for users of Google Chrome. According to the software's description on the official Chrome Store, it is meant to give users the ability to quickly search their 'Downloads' folder directly from their web browser. While this may sound useful, it is certain that myDownloads Search's feature is not that special and many users might not need an extension of this sort. Another reason why you might not want myDownloads Search installed on your PC is because it can only be used if you authorize it to modify your Chrome settings in order to introduce a new tab page owned by the software's publisher.
The new tab page that myDownloads Search promotes features a search field as well as a collection of links to popular websites. While there's nothing suspicious there, you should keep in mind that the quality of myDownloads Search's search feature might decline if its owners opt to modify the way it works.
The software is offered by Myappline.com, which appears to be another clone of nJoyapps.com – a website that hosts a long list of browser add-ons that SpywareRemove.com researchers have masked as potentially unwanted programs (PUPs). If you recently installed myDownloads Search and you are not happy with what it has to offer, then you should take steps to remove it completely. Since this add-on is not harmful, it is possible to uninstall it manually via Chrome's settings menu. However, if you are using a reputable PC security scanner, it is likely that it will automatically offer to dispose of myDownloads Search's files.
