My Security Wall is a rogue anti-spyware program designed to trick computer users to spend money on a useless program. My Security Wall's developers use a Trojan to redirect users to corrupt websites promoting My Security Wall. The rogue developers also create a multimedia website to host My Security Wall installation files, which will later be dropped on the compromised computer. Once active, My Security Wall, just like other members of the FakeVimes family will alter system settings and add its own entry to the registry to make itself run every time Windows starts up. The developers give the victim the option of obtaining the My Security Wall activation code to clear the computer problems.
