Navihelper is an adware that shows advertisements and uses a web browser to access numerous commercial sites. It downloads the list of such sites and uses it to serve advertisements. Navihelper can be manually installed or get into the computer as a component of some ad-supported software. It modifies essential computer settings and registers itself as a web browser add-on. The spyware has the ability to update itself via the Internet.
