Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

It is not a good sign if all of a sudden an application called NJax appears in your Control panel. This program is adware that may attach towards your browser in the form of a Web extension. NJax may work just as well on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The only function of NJax is to insert sponsored pop-ups, banners and other eye-catching commercial materials. They may lead to affiliate sites, some of which may be e-commerce platforms. This process benefits both sides of this deal, but may not be of any help to you. The owners of the promoted sites get a consistent flow of visitors, which improves their page rank. On the other hand, the developers of NJax receive commissions. Unfortunately, what you may experience are unexpected speed drops, freezes, or other glitches that may make your surfing sessions less enjoyable. Nobody besides cyber security analysts has any reason to install this adware intentionally. However, even if you wish to do so, you may not find any site that hosts NJax. This suspicious extension may rely solely on the bundling delivery tactic. NJax may sneak in without drawing your attention when you agree to install some freeware. If you download cost-free applications from untrustworthy sites, the chances for suspicious bonus components like NJax entering would be higher. You should use the 'Advanced' menu to prevent the loading of such tools. The ads that this adware generates may be based on your comprehensive surfing history. For example, if you have searched for concert tickets recently, you may start seeing discounts and exclusive offers about such social events. The experts advise you to beware if you want to explore the offered deals. In some cases, they may transfer you to potentially harmful Web pages. To bring back the normal performance of your web clients, you should use a credible security solution to delete NJax.
