Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Okitagency may refer to either an adware program by the same name, or the advertising-oriented company that displays advertisements through the program, which also is referred to as OKIT Agency. Okitagency adware is known for delivering advertisements based on product recommendations by affiliates, but Okitagency delivers these advertisements by modifying the content of other Web pages automatically. Since this kind of behavior has often been remarked upon as a security and performance hazard, malware researchers would consider deleting Okitagency, whether or not you appreciate its advertisements, to be better for your browser than allowing Okitagency to load new content whenever you go shopping online.
The Agency that Nudges Its Recommendations into Your Shopping Habits
While Okitagency's company calls itself an 'ideal meeting point' between advertisers, developers and publishers, it's notable that Okitagency doesn't include the advertising audience in any portion of that equation. Whatever its other marketing services may be, malware experts have verified that this company has been found using at least one form of adware to promote its partnered advertisers. While it's unknown whether or not the Okitagency company actually developed this software directly, circumstantial evidence certainly leads to that as a reasonable conclusion.
Okitagency adware currently limits its advertisements to 'shopping' advertisements, such as those similar to the content of Deal Finder or Charm Savings. These advertisements are designed to display whenever you view products from major online retailers like Amazon or eBay, and show comparisons to similar products with accompanying prices. Malware experts may be happy to find that Okitagency advertisements don't have a history of being compromised, but they still warn any would-be viewers that Okitagency's prices aren't necessarily synchronized with deals that are preferable to those you could find with any good search engine.
Finding the Right Agent of Okitagency's Prompt Removal
However questionable the OKIT Agency's business practices may be, Okitagency's website will not harm your computer, and Okitagency adware doesn't need to be thought of as a threat. While Okitagency doesn't try to harm your PC, its advertisements still may be generally problematic and may cause browser instability, poor Web-browsing performance, interference with website content or, in rare cases, exposure to unreliable sites. While you may feel that there are some benefits from Okitagency's shopping comparison features, malware researchers always find it safest to recommend deleting Okitagency and all other adware.
Okitagency's distribution models still are under analysis, and its installation may occur through different sources and techniques. Most adware programs, particularly semi-reputable ones like Okitagency, prefer to use software bundles with other legitimate applications. Installing the one usually may install the other, although you may be offered a way to opt out of the 'deal' of adware. Paying attention to what you're clicking through is one obvious solution, and many anti-malware tools should be able to provide assistance with detecting an Okitagency bundle, or removing Okitagency if it comes to that.
