One Click Booster

Posted: March 7, 2019

The One Click Booster is an unpopular PC optimization utility that might be promoted with the assistance of intrusive advertisements and pop-ups, which aim to trick the viewers into thinking that their PCs need to be optimized urgently by using the One Click Booster’s services. However, users who opt to install this program might expect to receive a free service. Unfortunately for them, the only free tool of the One Click Booster’s arsenal is the scanner, which can check their computers for issues and generate a report with the recommended actions. Often, the One Click Booster’s report may contain exaggerated information to trick the users into thinking that the issues they have are more serious than they really are.

If the users complete a scan with the free version of the One Click Booster, they may begin to see regular prompts to purchase a license key and unlock the software’s full toolkit, which will allow them to repair computer issues automatically and maintain their computers’ health and performance. However, the One Click Booster’s usefulness is questionable since modern Windows versions are capable of taking care of themselves, and PC optimization utilities are becoming a thing of the past gradually.

Of course, PC optimizers still can be useful, but certainly not ones that try to trick you into paying for their full version. The One Click Booster is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), and it is not recommended to spend money on it. If you have installed the free variant and wish to remove it, then you can do so either manually or with the use of a suitable PC security tool.
