OneUpdater

OneUpdater is a fake Windows application that promises to provide you with notifications and help whenever your software or drivers need to be updated. However, installing the OneUpdater software is a terrible idea, because this Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) is known to bring fraudulent advertisements and pop-ups to systems. It may display fake alerts stating that Adobe Flash Player is out of date regularly, and then tries to persuade you to update it to the latest version. However, instead of a legitimate update package, you may end up downloading potentially harmful software or other PUPs.

OneUpdater may not always appear because you downloaded and installed it manually – it may be spread via fake downloads and software bundles that rely on misleading instructions and options to trick users into authorizing OneUpdater's installation.

If you see the name OneUpdater in your list of installed Windows Applications, then you should remove it with the help of an up-to-date anti-malware application, certainly.
