Movie Search is a browser toolbar that should supposedly provide PC users with reliable information about both new and old movies. In theory, this application should let you find the highest rated films in different genres. Although the promised features may seem appealing to the right audience, the experts don't recommend installing Movie Search Toolbar. This software falls into the category of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). The majority of PC users may not enjoy the changes it makes to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. First of all, the unreliable application may change the homepage and the default search engine. The new search site that it may set as the starting point may not provide accurate results. The reason for the existence of similar platforms is not to let you find the information you need more quickly, but to make you visit sponsored pages. For the same reason, this PUP also may create some additional commercial materials. After the installation of Movie Search Toolbar, you may encounter pop-ups, banners, animations and videos. They may appear on a regular basis and in different sites, which may prove to be very annoying. As you probably know, multimedia elements in the sites may require a lot of resources to load. If you open a few tabs, the presence of the commercial materials may lead to freezes. You should be careful with new ads because some of them may be unreliable. On no occasion should you agree to load software that they may promote. If they display any security warnings, you should ignore them. If you didn't download Movie Search Toolbar from its official site, it might have entered bundled with freeware. The specialists suggest using dedicated security software to eliminate this PUP from your PC.
