PasswordView is a piece of software that installs itself as a Web browser extension that may be compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. PasswordView is supposed to provide users with the ability to reveal their remembered passwords quickly by replacing the asterisk symbols with symbols. However, PasswordView may pose a security risk, because passwords are hidden with asterisk signs for a reason, and revealing them may allow observers to see your saved passwords.
