PCEasyNow is a software product whose publisher does not have a reputable name in the PC optimization field. In addition to being relatively unknown, it is important to note that PCEasyNow's official website features some bold claims such as stating that the software is capable of preventing the Blue Screens of Death. However, the famous Windows Blue Screen of Death is usually linked to hardware malfunction so that it would be impossible for a utility like PCEasyNow to deal with this problem. Regardless of this apparently exaggerated statement, it seems that PCEasyNow is not useless, and it is indeed capable of scanning the computer and performing certain optimizations. However, the fixes that PCEasyNow applies are certainly not miraculous as the website of the product promises.

If you are considering downloading this application, you also should know that it has been added to the databases of major PC security product vendors due to it being categorized as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). In short, this means that PCEasyNow is not unsafe, but it may sometimes behave weirdly and cause unexpected side effects. In addition to this, the 'free download' promoted on PCEasyNow's website is just for the trial version of the product. This version is unable to apply any optimizations and fixes and, instead, its sole purpose is to scan the computer and generate a report with recommended optimizations. However, to take advantage of the PCEasyNow's real features, users will be asked to pay a price of $39.97 for the full product.

Although PCEasyNow is capable of helping out, there are plenty of alternative PC optimization utilities that will not charge you money. Also, please note that Microsoft does not recommend using this sort of software since it may often cause more harm than good. If you have installed PCEasyNow recently and you want to remove this application, then you can do so either by uninstalling it manually or running a reputable PC security utility.
