Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

PC Security Pro is a clone of other rogue security programs from the same family that share their visual structure and code with similar scamware. These fake security programs, including PC Security Pro, profit off of a fraudulent marketing scheme that claims that PC Security Pro and related programs are free, only to alert you later with fake infection pop-ups that request you to spend money on a registration process to fix these issues. SpywareRemove.com malware experts have looked PC Security Pro over from head to toe and failed to find a single genuine or positive feature about PC Security Pro; instead, PC Security Pro is only good for delivering PC Security Pro's false positives and causing web browser-related attacks. You should delete PC Security Pro with a trusted anti-malware program, just as you would do for any virus, Trojan or worm.
Stepping Back from PC Security Pro's Fake Info Injections
PC Security Pro, like most forms of rogue security software, uses fake information as a primary method of swindling money. Its marketing scheme proudly presents PC Security Pro as an excellent PC security product at various neutral download warehouse websites, as well as at PC Security Pro's own site, pc-security-pro.soft32.com. If you fall for these lying descriptions and install PC Security Pro, you'll soon find even more types of bad data headed straight at you.
While PC Security Pro is active, either openly or in the form of a background memory process, your PC will be subjected to various fake alerts, warnings and pop-ups, all of which try to trick you into thinking that your computer is damaged in a variety of ways. Some of the standard error messages that SpywareRemove.com malware experts have brought to light include the following examples:
INFILTRATION ALERT
Your computer is being attacked by a Internet Virus.
It could be a password stealing attack, a trojan – dropper or similar.
Windows Security alert
Your system might be at risk now.
Windows reports that computer is infected.
Antivirus software helps to protect your computer against viruses and other
security threats. Click here for the scan your computer using PC Security Pro.
These errors don't detect any real problems on your PC, and are only created to make you waste money on PC Security Pro's nonexistent security. Similar errors may also be created by PC Security Pro's clones, such as PC Security 2010, Rapid Antivirus, PC Antispyware 2010, Home Antivirus Pro 2010 and Home Antivirus 2010.
Other Undesired Aspects of a PC Security Pro House Guest on Your PC
PC Security Pro may also attempt to distract you by creating other issues that may lead you to believe that your computer is more severely infected than you previously suspected. However, rest assured, all of the symptoms noted below that SpywareRemove.com malware researchers have scouted out are the fault of PC Security Pro or a related infection and can be dealt with by removing PC Security Pro with the right security scanner:
- Browser hijacks that redirect you to a PC Security Pro website.
- Error messages that block you from visiting PC security websites.
- A desktop that's locked to an alarming error message.
- Poor system performance due to PC Security Pro's excessive and constant usage of system resources like RAM.
