Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The PDF Baron is a browser extension, which is available for Google Chrome exclusively. Users who install this extension might be attracted by its description, which states that the PDF Baron will provide users with the ability to convert PDF files to various formats instantly, as well as provide them with support for backward conversion (e.g. XLS to PDF). While this change might be helpful to some users, there are many free online alternatives to the PDF Baron, and their advantage is that they can be used without installing 3rd-party software on your computer. However, if you do end up accepting to install the PDF Baron, then you should remember that this add-on demands permission to change the Google Chrome's new tab page with a website associated with the PDF Baron's developer - Tersertude Ltd. This company's name does not seem to be linked to any previously known Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) so that the PDF Baron appears to be one of its first products of this sort.
The PDF Baron is not a harmful app, and it does provide the promised features. The new tab page it promotes can be found at http://tab.pdfbaron.com/ with the title 'Pronto Baron.' The search feature yields results from the Yahoo Search, while the document conversion tool also appears to work flawlessly.
If you are happy with the changes that the PDF Baron brings, then you can feel free to continue using this extension. However, if you are of the opposite opinion and you've found the PDF Baron to be more annoying than helpful, then you should take the required steps to uninstall the PDF Baron and get your browser's previous settings back. The removal of this add-on can be completed either via the Chrome's settings panel or by running a suitable PC security application.
