The Planktab.com site is one that has various ads listed to popular sites. The Planktab application is offered through the Planktab.com site as an add-on browser extension component. In some cases Planktab may automatically load when installing freeware apps or bundled software programs downloaded from the Internet.

Discontinuing use of Planktab may require complete removal of the Planktab program and any related browser extensions. Such an action of removal may be done manually or automatically by using and antimalware program.
