Policeguardstate.org is a dangerous and possibly harmful website that may be used by attackers to spread various ransomware. Policeguardstate.org may be connected with browser hijackers, adware and Trojans. A relevant 'Police' ransomware Trojan locks a computer and web browser, displays a fake police notification and asks a victimized PC user to pay a supposed fine to unlock the computer system. Malware threats pertaining to Policeguardstate.org may display a fake warning message declaring that a PC user committed cybercrime by carrying out illegal online activities and, thus, breached certain copyright or other laws. Browser hijackers may also unwillingly reroute PC users to Policeguardstate.org.
