Police-service.net is a dangerous and possibly harmful website that may be used by scammers to spread various ransomware. Police-service.net is connected with browser hijackers, adware and Trojans. A relevant ransomware Trojan locks a computer and Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome Web browsers and asks a victim to pay a supposed ransom to unlock the computer system. Malware threats pertaining to Police-service.net may display a fake warning message stating that a PC user committed cybercrime by carrying out illicit online activities and, thus, violated certain copyright or other laws. Browser hijackers may also reroute PC users to Police-service.net.
