PowerStrip is an Internet Explorer toolbar that downloads and installs files without your consent.
While using a merchant site, PowerStrip can secretly switch affiliate IDs to steal commission fees from your web shopping. PowerStrip can automatically update itself and send collected data to it's remote server. PowerStrip may prove difficult to remove manually and may come bundled with other malware.
