PriceDownloader

Price Downloader is adware that may install itself into the Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox by adding a browser extension (BHO (Browser Helper Object)/plug-in). PriceDownloader may display unwanted pop-up advertisements in search engines such as Bing and Google. PriceDownloader may create an entry in Add or Remove Program. However, removing this entry might restrict it from running, but may not restrict pop-up ads from displaying. After installation, PriceDownloader may display ads by embedding them in search websites and a variety of other websites that may use third-party advertising and substitute these ads with its own. PriceDownloader may continuously reroute computer users to sponsored websites that were created to probably generate advertising revenue from clicks on ads and increased web traffic.
