The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

PrimaScope is an ad-supported extension that may work on all of the leading Web clients. This application is supposed to help the users find interesting quizzes and tarot readings. Those people who enjoy reading their daily horoscopes should also benefit from PrimaScope. The problem with this program is that it may inject too many commercial materials in the opened Web pages, which the majority of people do not appreciate. The experts classify the applications with such behavior as adware. Since PrimaScope comes for free, its developers rely on pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads or embedded videos to generate revenue. The purpose of the marketing offers that you will encounter, is to lead you to sponsored third-party sites. Some of them may attempt to sell you merchandise or make you register. For each successful redirection or installation of a promoted software, the people behind this adware will receive certain commissions. The main negative aspects of this performance are two. The first one concerns the partner network, while the second is associated with the functionality of your browsers directly. This adware extension may promote many different sites for maximum profits. Some of the sponsored pages may turn out to be unsafe. Even platforms that were reliable initially may start spreading fake software updates later on. It is not advisable to download any content from the affiliated sites to prevent potential infection. The constant loading of various commercial materials, some of which may have resource-consuming multimedia elements, may cause functionality issues like speed drops and freezes eventually. There are two main methods used for the distribution of PrimaScope. You can download this extension from its official site easily, where PrimaScope is described in a very appealing manner. PrimaScope also may enter combined with third-party freeware, which is perceived as a deceiving installation tactic. No matter how this add-on found its way to your PC, you should consider eliminating PrimaScope with advanced security software.
