Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Privacy Plus is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that appears to come from the same publisher who is behind other PUPs we've covered in the past - Ultimate PC Optimizer and Privacy Dr. The connection between all of the above is obvious because they share a similar website design, and the customer support number for all three applications is identical. However, Privacy Plus is not meant to work as a PC optimization utility and, instead, it offers users the ability to improve their online privacy by deleting all sorts of private content from their computers – browsing history, cookies, saved passwords, chat logs, etc. While some of these features may be useful, it is important to mention that the trial copy of Privacy Plus is unable to complete any of the offered tasks. Users who install the free version will only get access to the main interface and some of the reports that Privacy Plus generates, but if they wish to run the cleaning process, then they'll be prompted to purchase a paid copy of Privacy Plus.
According to the official website of Privacy Plus, users also will get access to extra features such as the ability to replace their original chat logs with dummy text so that it will look as if nothing was deleted on purpose. In addition to this, users also might gain access to real-time privacy protection and other perks that come with the paid version of Privacy Plus.
We advise users not to pay for unreputable software like Privacy Plus, especially since the services it offers are already carried out by multiple pieces of software that are more reliable and, most importantly, also are free. Users who wish to remove Privacy Plus from their computer can do that via the Windows Control Panel or a computer security software.
