ScreenshotProtectDefender (Protect Defender) is a fake anti-spyware program that comes from the family of rogue anti-spyware applications such as WiniGuard and Armor Defender. ProtectDefender can impersonate a security application that is able to help you rid parasites only ProtectDefender does not have the ability to complete that process.

ProtectDefender is usually heavily advertised on a malicious website as a security application. ProtectDefender, after installation, will display several misleading popup messages that attempt to warn computer users of an imaginary parasite infection. In addition, ProtectDefender will perform a system scan only to display fake results as another scare tactic. It is recommended that computer users avoid use of ProtectDefender and take action to remove it at once before damage occurs.
