PUP.FireDiveDownloader is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that may generate and show unwanted discount coupon and offer ads when computer users are visiting online shopping-related websites. The makers of the PUP.FireDiveDownloader browser extension may declare that it can save time and money while shopping online by automatically showing lowest prices, discount coupons and the best sales of the selected products or items. However, in reality, the PUP.FireDiveDownloader add-on is categorized as adware, and it is not advised using it. PUP.FireDiveDownloader may be marketed and proliferate to PCs as an extra tool through packaged free programs and unsafe downloads, for example, and install itself on the computer system without the PC user's agreement. Upon installation, PUP.FireDiveDownloader may trace the PC user's Web browsing routine by recording surfing information. PUP.FireDiveDownloader may slow down major Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox and may interfere with the normal operating of the PC.
