PWSteal.Axespec.A is a password stealing Trojan which poses a threat to computer users and their PC systems. PWSteal.Axespec.A targets computer users who use online banking services. The Trojan comes armed with a keylogger application which records all keystrokes typed on the targeted computer. PWSteal.Axespec.A gains entry to the machine via malicious websites, peer to peer file sharing sites, and downloads or video codecs.

The risk factor here is having your online banking passwords stolen as this will result in identity theft and ultimately the theft of your hard-earned money. Attempts will also me made to steal credit card details and other private data which cyber criminals could use for their malicious benefit. Symptoms of this infection include annoying popups, connecting to the Internet without permission, slow system performance, slow Internet connection and system crashes.

Computer security experts recommend using updated antispyware software to make sure PWSteal.Axespec.A is terminated from the system. Do not hesitate, do so immediately before your money gets stolen!
