High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

Quick Coupons New Tab is a product of Polarity Technologies LTD and it is meant to serve as an extension for Google Chrome which can help users find the best available deals online. However, instead of suggesting deals based on the products they like, Quick Coupons New Tab simply introduces its users to a new tab page which contains links to various websites that provide their visitors with daily deals, promos, and coupon codes. While this might be helpful in certain situations, it certainly isn’t a shopping utility that you can use on a regular basis, since it does not offer tailored deals based on the products you are looking for.
In addition to not offering any unique or particularly valuable features, Quick Coupons New Tab might also turn out to be rather annoying since its installation can only be completed if you authorize the add-on to apply changes to Chrome’s configuration. The change in question is meant to set Chrome’s default new tab page to a website affiliated with Quick Coupons New Tab and Polarity Technologies. The website that Quick Coupons New Tab promotes is safe to use, but its search feature might be modified at any time, and it may begin to provide sponsored results that are not as relevant as the ones offered by Google, Bing, Yahoo, or other reputable search aggregators.
While Quick Coupons New Tab is not harmful, you should consider its removal if you do not plan to continue using its services. Potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) like this one can be removed either manually or with the help of a trustworthy PC security software suite.
