Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

The Quick Maps 100 Toolbar is a dubious browser extension, which has just one active user currently, according to its official download page on the Chrome Web Store. Furthermore, the official website of the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar is still in development, and it states that the extension is meant to provide users with access to sketches and art pieces that they can color from their Web browser directly. However, the name 'Quick Maps 100 Toolbar' certainly does not sound like an extension that is meant to grant users access to a coloring book. Regardless of the add-on's main purpose, we are here to talk about the permissions that the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar wants to have granted by users who opt to install it.
The installation wizard that the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar displays in Chrome states that users must allow the add-on to modify their Chrome New Tab settings, change their default search service provider, and also give it permission to read and change data on all websites they visit. While the former two are pretty self-explanatory, the latter may allow the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar to inject ads in opened websites. However, at the moment the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar does not appear to spread ads so that at least users will not encounter this issue for now.
The search service and new tab that the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar promotes are identical, and we advise users to stay away from them since it might not always provide reliable search results. This add-on has been categorized as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) so that it is not considered to be an unsafe piece of software. However, due to the questionable usefulness of its features, as well as the fact that it requires permissions to modify Chrome's settings drastically, it is recommended to consider the Quick Maps 100 Toolbar's removal as soon as possible. This Potentially Unwanted Program can be removed either manually or with the assistance of suitable PC security software.
