Quick PC Booster is an unreliable and suspicious program that will most likely be of no help to you. Security experts are unanimous that the users should not agree to install it. Quick PC Booster claims that it will improve the overall performance of your PC. Allegedly, it will fix registry errors, delete junk files and accelerate the startup of the Operating System (OS). It achieves almost nothing of the promised features. For this reason, some specialists add it to the long list of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). However, this classification is not entirely accurate for one simple reason – this questionable application is not free. It asks the user to buy the full license if he wishes to fix the errors, so a better term is "rogue optimization tool". The announced price is $50. However, when you click the purchase button, you will see that it actually costs $60, and you will be charged again after a year. When the program is so misleading, nothing guarantees that the people behind it will not use your credit card details for malicious purposes. There are good motives to believe that the scan results are intentionally exaggerated. They usually state that there are thousands of errors in the system of the users to encourage them to buy the full version of the fake optimization software. The official page of Quick PC Booster also provides inaccurate information. For example, you may see that the company that created this program is a partner of Microsoft. In fact, Quick PC Booster is not associated with the developers of Windows in any way. Instead of buying this useless application, you should use a real and powerful anti-malware product to delete it.
