QuickSurf is yet another adware created and developed by SuperWeb LLC. QuickSurf is marketed as a useful online tool that highlights text on pages that users visit and displays definition and related pages. At first glance, QuickSurf may seem like a useful browser plugin. However, computer security experts advise users not to install QuickSurf as it records all browsing activities and habits of users. QuickSurf also displays annoying advertisements that consume a large portion of your CPU. Ads by QuickSurf are quite annoying and are also described as unreliable. Advertising materials displayed by QuickSurf are known to redirect users to third-party websites and thus generate income for them. Ads by QuickSurf may also redirect users to questionable and potentially harmful websites. Computer security experts advise users to remove QuickSurf as soon as they notice there are ads in the web browser.
