Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

RandomPrice is adware that shows price comparisons for products you may be interested in while browsing the Web. While distinct from a threat, which may use software functions to attack you or your PC, RandomPrice still may be a security problem, since its advertisements have the potential for loading unsafe content. More frequently than that, RandomPrice simply may be a nuisance and a performance speed bump that may prevent your browser from responding at an ideal performance level, and malware researchers find no real reason why you'd want to avoid deleting RandomPrice with appropriate security tools.
The Add-On that Knows the 'Best' Sites for Shopping
Simple advertising add-ons for various browsers are easy to code and just as easy to make a profit from, but not quite as easy as that to convince people to use them. RandomPrice, like other shopping adware programs, does its part to convince you of the benefits of its advertisements by promoting them as alternative sources for finding some good product prices. Sadly, there's no real truth to this marketing claim, which is backed up by advertisements that are sorted according to their partnerships with RandomPrice, rather than with any real price or product analysis.
Malware researchers find RandomPrice advertisements most often in an injected format, wherein a Web page unaffiliated with RandomPrice is specially-modified to host RandomPrice's advertisements. This display only modifies the Web page for the browser with RandomPrice installed and may block your access to certain site content. RandomPrice also, predictably, may have negative performance side effects, along with the performance problems that may come from RandomPrice updating itself automatically.
The Real Random Nature of RandomPrice's Results
By removing RandomPrice with a reliable program with anti-adware capabilities, you prevent your browser from launching false marketing offers, disguised phishing attacks and even drive-by-downloads that could install threats. As a final criticism, malware researchers also consider it a good practice to remove software that doesn't allow you to control its updates – since RandomPrice and other adware may adjust their functions to your detriment without any notifications.
Deleting RandomPrice promptly may be commendable, but stopping RandomPrice from ever coming into contact with your browser is even more so. Software bundles from sites with untrustworthy histories, as well as other download sources related to questionable activities, tend to be the prevalent means by which adware infiltrates a PC. Appropriate PC security programs should be able to detect bundled installers if they're scanned beforehand, although even the best software can only do so much to protect any PC user who's determined to engage in risky behavior.
